Many international flights land at Jorge Chávez International Airport (code LIM), which connects Lima with major hubs across Latin America, North America, Europe, and beyond.

Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport, authorized taxis and shuttle services are available right at the arrivals hall.
A taxi ride from the airport to central Lima or popular districts such as Miraflores or San Isidro typically costs around US $18–22 (≈ S/ 75–80) and takes about 20 minutes under normal traffic conditions.

A reliable alternative to taxis is the official shuttle bus service (e.g. Airport Express Lima), offering regular service to central districts at modest fares — a convenient option especially if arriving with luggage or traveling on a budget.

In November, Lima typically enjoys mild coastal weather. The city’s climate is subtropical-arid with average temperatures around 20–22 °C (68–72 °F), offering pleasant conditions for a conference visit.
