The LACEA–LAMES 2026 Annual Meeting will take place at the campus of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Welcome to Lima, a vibrant coastal capital where academic exchange unfolds alongside a rich cultural and culinary scene. Throughout the conference, participants will move easily between the meeting venue, their hotels, and the city’s lively restaurants, cultural spaces, and Pacific waterfront, offering a setting that combines rigorous scholarly dialogue with the experience of one of Latin America’s most dynamic cities.

The campus is easily accessible by taxi or bus from the Jorge Chávez International Airport. Several bus routes connect the airport and other parts of the city to the university area. Taxis are readily available at the airport, and ridesharing services also operate in Lima.
