
The Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA) and the Latin American Meeting of the Econometric Society (LAMES) are pleased to announce that the 2026 Annual Meeting will take place in Lima, Peru, in November 2026, hosted by the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP).
The LACEA–LAMES Annual Meeting is one of the premier academic gatherings in economics and econometrics in Latin America, bringing together leading scholars, policymakers, and graduate students from around the world to present and discuss frontier research. The conference provides a central platform for advancing economic scholarship, fostering collaboration, and strengthening the region’s integration into the global research community. The program also features mentoring workshops, mentoring sessions, and a summer school, offering opportunities for both early-career researchers and more advanced scholars.
